AlAEA - Actor

Alex Dittmer is a native of rural Illinois but currently resides in New York. He received his BA in Theatre from
Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL and received his MFA in Acting from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
He has been seen onstage at the Tony Award winning CINCINNATI PLAYHOUSE IN THE PARK and has worked at
the OBIE award winning PEARL THEATRE COMPANY and has had the honor and pleasure of sharing the stage
with Tony and Emmy Award winning actress Julie Harris and the legendary Melvin Van Peebles. He has been seen
onstage throughout the midwest and parts of the East coast.

Alex is a very proud member of Actors' Equity.

Hi Friends,

I have made the move back to the Midwest to be closer to my family. I moved back in August and was fortunate enough to spend a few hours everyday with my Father before he passed. I am now currently an adjunct Speech teacher for Illinois Valley Community College. Teaching is truly my vocation!
